About the Event

What is the Young Kiwi Challenger Series?

• The Young Kiwi Challenger Series is a competition designed for Primary & Intermediate schools across NZ. It's a great way to get your students involved in a nationwide competition across a range of subjects!
  
  
• With some awesome prizes up for grabs, students across Aotearoa will be completing questions, completing tasks and engaging in creative activities.
  
  
• Not only will they learn about fun and exciting topics aligned with the NZ curriculum, but they will become more familiar with the Education Perfect platform developing key digital literacy skills.

What subjects are involved/what are the dates?

• Monday 22nd May: Science
• Tuesday 23rd May:  Languages
• Wednesday 24th May: Maths
• Thursday 25th May: English
• Friday 26th May: Te Ao Māori & Aotearoa Histories

Who can enter?

Only students in Years 5-8 can take part in this event.

How do I enter?

Complete the form above & we will be in touch via email with next steps. Please note the form is for teachers only - students will need to register via their teacher.

How much does it cost?

It is completely free for all Year 5 to Year 8 Students to compete in the Young Kiwi Challenger Series.

How do my students compete? 

Students will only need to log into their EP account, and from there, they will see the competition from within their account. All the need to do is select it and begin completing the content they're directed to. See this video on how your students can compete.

Are there any prizes? 

• Overall school: $250 Scholastic voucher and a Young Kiwi Challenger 2023 shield
• Overall student: $150 GiftPay card
• Spot prizes given out for each day
