About the Event

What is the Young Kiwi Challenger Series?

• The Young Kiwi Challenger Series is a great way to get your students involved in a nationwide competition across a range of subjects!
  
  
• With some awesome prizes up for grabs, students across Aotearoa from Kaitaia to Bluff, will be completing questions, completing tasks and engaging in creative activities.
  
  
• Not only will they learn about fun and exciting topics but they will become more familiar with the Education Perfect platform developing key digital literacy skills.

What subjects are involved/what are the dates?

• Monday 16th May: Science
• Tuesday 17th May: English
• Wednesday 18th May: Maths
• Thursday 19th May: Languages
• Friday 20th May: Science Alive Mātauranga

This year, the competition coincides with Science Week for NZ. Antarctica is the focus for NZ Primary science week, which we have a lot of content for under Science Alive Mātauranga. These events are intended to be fun, engaging, and educational.

Who can enter?

● Only students in Years 5-8 can take part in this event.

Complete the form above & we will be in touch via email with next steps. Please note the form is for teachers only - students will need to register via their teacher.

How much does it cost?

It is completely free for all Year 5 to Year 8 Students to compete in the Young Kiwi Challenger Series.

Are there any prizes?

●  Subject winners: $50 GiftPay Card

●  Overall school: $250 Scholastic voucher and a Young Kiwi Challenger 2022 shield

●  Overall student: $150 GiftPay card
