# Beginners' Samoan: Free for all New Zealand schools

### **Register your School below:** \*Please note this registration form is for Teachers & Educators only

Gagana Sāmoa is the third most spoken language in Aotearoa yet it is sadly facing a decline. Change starts today and we invite you to embark on a journey of cultural enrichment and language revival.

We have partnered with the Ministry of Education, to create a FREE Beginners' Samoan language (Gagana Sāmoa) course, comprising 30 immersive lessons, designed to foster a deeper connection to Samoan heritage among your students.

By participating in this course, your school will:

- **Strengthen** the bond between students, families, and the wider Samoan community.
- **Cultivate** a sense of cultural pride and belonging.
- **Enhance** teachers' cultural competency through professional development.
- **Align** with Tapasā and the Government's Action Plan for Pacific Education
